XFFL Free Agents

What is a free agent?

Free agents are players who aren't affiliated with any particular team and want to become part of the league.

What does the XFFL do with the free agents?

The XFFL gets up to 20 free agents and puts them on a team for a flat fee.  That fee includes a jersey and league entry fee.

What happens after the team is formed?

After the team is formed, the captain of the free agent team is solely responsible for it. He will be in charge of getting referee fees for every game, which are $20.00 per game, and calling and informing his players.  It is very comparable to being a head coach or manager.

What happens at the end of the season?

The team can either choose to stay together or disband. However, many players who showcase great ability may be picked up be other established teams in the league.

Why join the free agent team?

The free agent team is a good opportunity for players to establish a name for themselves with the league, get to know some great people, and be a part of a great flag football organization.
